Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions seeks an experienced Millwright for on-site maintenance and repairs. You will read schematics, troubleshoot and rebuild machinery, and perform preventive maintenance to keep production equipment in peak condition.

The role requires reading drawings, working under pressure, and a strong focus on safety, housekeeping, and documentation. Shift flexibility and overtime may be needed to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum relevant work experience.
• Certificate of Qualification as Millwright from a recognized program.
• Experience with industrial automation, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Read schematics and drawings related to trade requirements.
• Troubleshoot, rebuild, repair and improve machinery without supervision.
• Operate machine tools to fabricate parts for maintenance and setup.
• Ensure safety devices function properly after repairs or installations.
• Pursue continuous improvement via preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
• Maintain exemplary housekeeping, safety, and policy compliance.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Able to use all equipment and machinery
• Understand and read schematics and drawings, related to the trade requirements
• Troubleshoot, rebuild, repair and improve all active and new machinery and equipment without supervision
• Operating machine tools to fabricate parts required for maintenance and setup of machines
• Ensure operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modification and installations
• Committed to continuous improvement on machinery, equipment and processes, via preventative and predictive maintenance on production and production supporting equipment
• Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
• Has an exemplary attitude towards housekeeping, safety and company policies

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years relevant work experience
• Possess Certificate of Qualification from a recognized secondary education program as Millwright
• Experience with industrial automation, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Strong trouble shooting skills with a commitment to deadlines and the ability to work well under pressure
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to establish priorities and proceed with objectives without supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a cooperative environment
• Shift flexibility is a requirement
• Ability to work overtime, when required
