Eternity Systems is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician (Millwright/Electrician) to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment at our Ontario facility. You will work on pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric systems with PLCs, documenting work and collaborating across departments.

The role requires several years of manufacturing experience with electrical and mechanical systems, CMMS familiarity, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Completion of ministry-approved pre-apprenticeship college course in an industrial trade.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems plus PLC proficiency.
• Strong communication and cross-department collaboration skills.
• Experience with CMMS and inventory control systems.

Responsabilités

• Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical systems including PLCs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical failures in conveyors, handling and wash equipment.
• Document performance and processes; schedule and track work orders in CMMS.

Job Overview:

Are you ready to put your technical expertise to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Millwright or Electrician to fill an existing vacancy as a Maintenance Technician and join our team! In this role, you’ll take on a variety of challenges—installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring productivity, operational excellence, and our ability to deliver high-quality results.

What You’ll Do:

As a Maintenance Technician , you’ll have the opportunities as follows:

• Hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all plant pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric systems including program logic control (PLC) systems control machine network devices (Ethernet IP Network).
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures in all plant manufacturing equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, handling equipment, conveyors, and wash processing equipment.
• Perform minor unscheduled maintenance and repair on trucking equipment such as forklifts; diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Analyze mechanic parts required for maintenance performance, use of equipment and material.
• Timely documentation of performance and processes as required by local and regional leadership.
• Schedule, execute, and properly document work orders and inventory within the corporate Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Active participation in machine process and design improvement forums is required.
• Provide coaching on the use and repair of industrial production equipment.
• Participate in health and safety programs including JHS committee meetings, Legislative and corporate mandated training, certification, and recertification.
• Basic use of welding/cutting equipment.
• Optional travel occasionally to other locations for training and support—expanding your knowledge and expertise.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to streamline maintenance processes.

What You’ll Bring:

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

• Completion of Ministry approved pre-Apprenticeship College course in either
• Industrial Mechanic 433A
• Industrial Electrician 442A
• Construction & Maintenance 309A
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience involving electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, with PLC proficiency.
• Strong technical capacity, ethical conduct, and results-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Experience in the food industry, or other related manufacturing experience.
• Experience with CMMS and inventory control systems.
