The Opportunity

The purpose of a Maintenance Technician position is to perform basic tasks and repairs within the fulfillment center, including work on conveyors, PIT equipment, and general building maintenance. This requires a basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Familiarity with AC/DC systems and the ability to use a voltmeter are also required.

You will report to the Facilities Area Manager and work onsite in our Ontario, CA fulfillment center. We have 1st and 2nd shift available.

Who We Are

The maintenance team handles various work streams and projects to ensure a safe and comfortable workplace, including building maintenance, AV setup, guest registration, space planning, large-scale projects, and café services.

Your Impact

  • Building Maintenance – Perform and facilitate general facility repairs such as electrical, lighting, HVAC, and conveyor systems.
  • Equipment Maintenance – Conduct planned and unplanned repairs, preventative maintenance, and identify safety hazards.
  • Conveyor, Automation, and Sorter Systems – Support repairs and maintenance to keep systems operational.
  • Electrical – Understand AC and DC systems; use a voltage meter; follow lockout/tagout policies.
  • System Installation, Design, Construction, and Repair – Assist with installations and repairs of equipment.
  • Record Keeping – Maintain accurate records using CMMS systems, read technical manuals, and document changes.

What You Bring

  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals.
  • Familiarity with blueprints and engineering specifications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical courses or certifications preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Experience with conveyor and automation system repairs.
  • Availability for occasional on-call or overtime work.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Knowledge of voltage meters and AC/DC systems preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.

Hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $32.00.
