Tremco Construction Products Group combines the operations of Tremco CPG Inc.'s divisions in Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing and Roofing & Building Maintenance, along with brands like Dryvit, Nudura, and Willseal, among others. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Maintenance Technician supports daily maintenance activities at the plant, assisting leadership and maintenance staff to ensure high standards, safety, and efficiency. The role emphasizes maintaining quality and exceeding customer expectations in a professional environment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform work safely by adhering to all safety rules and procedures.
- Inspect and repair plant equipment, including mechanical, welding, carpentry, electrical, instrumentation, and controls, to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Clean and maintain work areas and tools.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Report incidents, near misses, and non-conformances.
- Follow organizational policies and standard procedures.
- Assist in maintenance supply procurement.
- Execute Preventative Maintenance programs.
- Perform other projects and tasks as assigned.
- Cross-train in other production functions as needed.
Education Requirements
- One-year certificate from college, technical school, or manufacturing training program, OR
- High school diploma/GED plus one year of experience, OR
- Two years of experience in lieu of formal education.
Experience Requirement
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Class 3 Boiler Operator License required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to install, program, and troubleshoot PLCs; experience with AC/DC drive motors preferred.
- Competence in troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures, arc flash safety, confined space entry, and hot work permits.
- Willingness to work overtime and meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize and respond quickly to equipment issues.
- Team-oriented, self-motivated, quick learner.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Experience with 480-volt 3-phase electrical systems.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, taste, smell, and lift up to 50 lbs.

- Hourly rate ranges from $33.70 to $38.80, depending on qualifications and operational needs.
