Job Description

1. Builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems, such as computer equipment and missile control instrumentation.
2. Tests equipment and machine tool controls, applying principles of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, and physics.
3. Discusses layout and assembly procedures with the Electronic Supervisor and sketches design details.
4. Assembles experimental circuitry or prototypes based on engineering instructions and manuals.
5. Recommends circuitry or installation changes to simplify assembly and maintenance.
6. Sets up test apparatus and conducts functional, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance.
7. Analyzes and interprets test data.
8. Adjusts and calibrates circuitry, recording effects on performance.
9. Prepares technical reports, charts, and schematics to describe system characteristics and malfunctions.
10. Checks functioning of new equipment in actual operating conditions, such as aircraft or ships.
11. Instructs and supervises technical personnel.
12. Participates in environmental protection activities, energy saving initiatives, and waste management, adhering to laws and regulations.
13. Handles chemicals safely, ensuring proper storage and use according to laws.
14. Ensures compliance with quality management systems.
15. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical high school or vocational diploma.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of practical experience.
• Foreign Language: Not required.
• Courses and Training: Not required.
• Computer Literacy: MS Office applications.
• Skills: Ability to use basic tools and equipment; certification in the related field is a plus.
