Broadstreet Properties Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Dufferin Landing Apartments in Portage la Prairie, MB.

This hands-on role involves diagnosing and repairing plumbing, heating, and electrical issues, plus fixing doors, windows, appliances and fixtures to keep units comfortable. Ideal candidates have 2+ years local maintenance experience, a relevant trade or equivalent, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a maintenance role.
• Completion of relevant trade, technical certification, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of hand tools and repair equipment.
• Experience using computers, smartphones, and tablets; used for email, electronic work order applications, timesheets.
• Availability to work on-call on rotational basis.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic to intermediate plumbing, heating and electrical issues.
• Repair windows, blinds, doors, switches, plugs, appliances and fixtures.
• Paint, drywall patching, mudding, taping, etc.
• Maintain exterior including basic grounds maintenance.
• Use computers and mobile devices for emails, work orders and timesheets.
