AWIN, a premier automotive group headquartered in Thornhill, Ontario, is hiring an Automotive Maintenance Technician for its Mercedes-Benz Downtown Toronto location. You will perform daily maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on luxury vehicles, contributing to service excellence.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, Ontario G license, clean driving record, and the ability to read and follow instructions.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Ontario G Driver’s licence.
  • Clear Driver’s Abstract.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Must have manual transmission driving experience.
  • Good judgement.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high‑pressure environment.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines.
  • Sound understanding of all automotive functionalities.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform services based on general maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Diagnose and perform comprehensive assembly, vehicle maintenance and repairs in cooperation with or under the instruction of a System or Diagnostic Technician.

Job Purpose

The Maintenance Technician preforms the daily technician works such as maintenance and diagnoses work. This is a specialized job and requires a candidate to be well versed with the technicalities of automotive parts.


Responsibilities


  • Perform services based on general maintenance and minor repairs.

  • Diagnose and perform comprehensive assembly, vehicle maintenance and repairs in cooperation with or under the instruction of a System or Diagnostic Technician

  • Provide support to Diagnostic Technicians with preliminary diagnosis

  • Adhere to the regulation of the automobile safety norms.


Rate

$46.23 hourly
