Job Description: Full-Time Millwright Assistant / Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance activities within the team, utilizing principles of total quality management to execute preventative maintenance and equipment repairs. The role involves active participation in project development and training, and effective communication between management and the team to maximize maintenance practices.

BC Cranberry farmers supply cranberries to the Richmond Receiving Station during the harvest season from September to November. You will play a vital role in ensuring machinery is operational to meet the processing demand of over 50 million pounds of cranberries.

Position Details: We are hiring a Millwright Assistant / Maintenance Mechanic to start immediately. Your duties will include preventive maintenance, machinery repairs, breakdown response, and new installations.

Requirements

Assets

• Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) or Machinist Trade Certification
