Job summary

Mainstreet Equity Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform building maintenance duties in a six-plex residential setting. Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs with on-call rotation.

The role requires at least 2 years of handyman experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to pass security clearance. Benefits include dental, vision, health coverage and a car allowance.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of general handyman experience.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall.
• Soldering and appliance troubleshooting skills.
• Flexible for on-call, weekends, and after-hours emergencies.

• Must pass a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• General handyman duties: minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Inspect and maintain boilers, HVAC, etc.
• Carpentry, installation of blinds, fixing doors/locks/cabinets, drywall, tiling and painting.
• Be available for on-call on a rotating schedule to deal with problems after hours and/or weekends.
• Manage tenants' maintenance requests including proper follow up to ensure satisfaction and completion.

Position Summary

Maintenance Technician is responsible for all building maintenance related duties within their assigned location(s) within a residential multi-family setting.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• General handyman duties- minor plumbing, electrical repairs and maintenance
• Inspection and maintenance of boilers, HVAC etc.
• General carpentry, installation of blinds, fixing doors, locks, cabinets etc., drywall, tiling and painting
• Be available for on- call on a rotating schedule to deal with problems that occur after hours and/or weekends
• Manage tenants' maintenance requests including proper follow up to ensure satisfaction and completion

• Possess at least 2 years' of general handyman work experience
• Experience in minor plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, drywall
• Soldering, troubleshoot of appliances, repair works
• Flexible to work regular work hours and on-call duties/weekends/ after hour emergencies on rotation basis schedule
• Must possess valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to use at work.
• Must successfully complete a security clearance
