Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Ottawa, as the Maintenance Technician:

• Perform regular scheduled preventative maintenance (PM Program) for all stationary equipment, mobile plant equipment, and building components at both Plant 1 and Plant 2, as required. Maintain all necessary records to support the PM Program at both plants.
• Perform service and repair to all plant equipment as required, including stationary equipment, mobile plant equipment, and building components at Plant 1 and 2.
• Be involved in the modification and fabrication of equipment to meet new production requirements and assist in solving production issues.
• Assist third-party contractors with troubleshooting, repairs, or overhauls of existing or new equipment installations as required.
• Complete all documentation related to departmental activities, including preventative maintenance reports, service reports, inventory reports or request forms, and daily activity reports.

• Some experience in a manufacturing or related industry. Previous experience with equipment used in the recycling industry and with related mobile equipment is a definite asset.
• Related technical school training.

• Experience in carpentry work.
• Training is during the day; shifts will be evenings and nights.
