Job description

Full Time Maintenance Technician in Mississauga
Must be able to work 40 hours a week on SIN.

MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE, PREFERABLY IN A MANUFACTURING OR INDUSTRIAL SETTING.

Work for a company that has been in business for more than 40 years!
$25-40/hr depending on experience.

You will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on our facility and equipment to ensure a smooth production process. While an electrical background is a plus, we are looking for candidates with a range of maintenance skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical issues.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  2. Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.
  3. Conduct routine inspections and scheduled maintenance to keep systems running efficiently.
  4. Assist with basic electrical repairs when necessary.
  5. Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  6. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on equipment and systems.
  7. Collaborate with team members to support production goals and respond quickly to maintenance needs.
Requirements:
  1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  3. Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  4. Electrical certification is a bonus.
  5. Forklift and Scissor lift/Aerial licenses.
  6. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  7. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
