Job description

Position: CNC Maintenance Technician

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

Direct Reports: None

Summary

HPG, located in Milton Ontario, requires a CNC Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will be able to perform a variety of operations to maintain CNC machines and oversee the maintenance of the facility as a whole. This individual should have 1 – 3 years of CNC or comparable maintenance experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and service CNC equipment and perform general machine repairs
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance including daily oil, grease and filter checks, top ups and replacements.
• Perform facility repairs and general maintenance including lights changes outdoor repairs and maintenance
• Control maintenance tools, equipment
• Understand the health and safety act and regulations
  
  

Work Conditions

• Reports to Maintenance Technician Supervisor
• Day shift with 24/7 availability as required for emergency service.
• Off peak vacation schedule to provide shut down preventive maintenance.
• Physically capable of machine repair in a machine shop environment.
• Safety equipment, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
• Overtime as required.
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma, completion of applicable trade school, or an equivalent related experience.
• Experience with machining as it relates to machine tool capabilities and requirements
• Trouble shooting and repair capabilities in mechanical, hydraulic and electronics
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic
