Job summary

Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities, part of QuadReal Property Group, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Evergreen community on a 12-month contract. You will oversee maintenance and repairs for the community and its facilities, ensuring safety and quality for residents.

The role requires strong communication, flexibility, and a hands-on approach to grounds, buildings, and systems maintenance, with occasional after-hours work and emergencies. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of related general maintenance experience; experience working in the hotel or campground industry is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater systems; Water Operator Certification is considered an asset.
• Valid G-class driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract is required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, days, nights, and emergency call-ins as required.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, contractors, the public, and residents.
• Familiarity with smartphone and tablet technology and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis.

• Promote a safe working environment for staff, residents, vendors, and visitors.
• Ensure Health & Safety requirements for the communities are consistently met.
• Be available for after - hours calls and respond to emergencies, as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Role Description
