Job summary

Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities, part of QuadReal Property Group, seeks a Maintenance Technician for Gallagher Lake Resort. You will oversee maintenance and general repairs across the property and support residents with timely service.

Role requires a valid G-class driver’s license and on-call availability for sewer, water, and park emergencies. Water operator certification is an asset. Weekend and after-hours work may be required with a focus on safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee grounds maintenance and landscaping of the property.
• Repair and maintain all community buildings and equipment.
• Manage and keep records of upkeep of septic systems.
• Maintain all Health & Safety requirements of the Community and Community Buildings.
• Ensure ongoing communication with your manager.
• Be responsible for maintenance and cleaning of work area, tools and equipment.
• Respond to requests from manager with courtesy and timeliness.
• Interact with community residents with patience and courtesy.
• Operate within Occupational Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
• Be prepared to accept after-hours calls and act on emergencies as required.
• Perform other duties as required.

Role Description

Reporting to the Property Manager, the Maintenance Technician will oversee and initiate maintenance and general repairs for the entire property and fulfill the company's responsibilities to its residents at Gallagher Lake Resort.

Responsibilities

• Grounds maintenance and landscaping of the property
• Repairs and maintenance of all community buildings and equipment
• Managing and keeping records of the upkeep of the septic systems
• Maintaining all Health & Safety requirements of the Community and Community Buildings
• Ensuring ongoing communication with your manager
• Responsible for maintenance and cleaning of work area, tools and equipment.
• Respond to requests from manager with courtesy and in a timely manner
• Interact with community residents with patience and courtesy
• Operate within the applicable Occupational Health & Safety legislation and company policies at all times.
• Be prepared to accept after hour calls and act on emergencies as required.
• Other duties as required

Experience And Qualifications

• Must have valid G-class driver’s license; Clean Driver’s Abstract required
• On-call availability for sewer, water, and park emergencies
• Water operator certification an asset
• Able to work weekends, days, nights and call-in during emergencies

The expected hourly range for this role is $22 - $25.
