Job summary

IQ Resource Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician III for a well-established company in Neenah, WI. The role involves troubleshooting, installation, repairs, continuous improvement and preventative/daily maintenance of production and facility equipment.

The position requires associates degree or equivalent and 4–6 years in manufacturing plus 3–5 years in maintenance. Forklift and aerial lift certifications are required. It may include weekends and on-call support.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
• 4-6 years related experience and/or training in manufacturing.
• 3-5 years related experience and/or training in maintenance.
• Fork / Aerial Lift Certified.
• Knowledge of standard practices, materials, tools and equipment used in repair and maintenance of manufacturing machinery/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Promotes job safety, and participates in plant safety goals and procedures.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
• Inspect, set-up and adjust machine rolls; embossing and die rolls.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues.
• Respond to breakdowns quickly and perform repairs with quality workmanship.
• Review work orders and complete tasks on a priority basis.
• Contribute to process capability changes to improve quality and productivity.
• Perform basic electrical preventative maintenance checks.
• Operate forklift, aerial lift, tow motor, tractors and other vehicles safely.
• Participate in cross-functional project groups.
• Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Maintain parts inventory accuracy and communication of needs.

Position: Maintenance Tech III Type: Direct Hire Hours: Monday-Friday 6am-2pm Wage: $28- $32/hr Location: Neenah, WI Job Summary: The Level 3 Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing troubleshooting, installation, equipment repairs, continuous improvement and preventative / daily maintenance of production and facility equipment. This position applies mechanical theory and related knowledge to test and modify manufacturing machinery and equipment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Promotes job safety, and is an active participant in the development of plant safety goals, policies and procedures
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
• Inspect, set-up and adjust machine rolls; embossing and die rolls
• Accurately troubleshoot common mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues
• Respond to all breakdowns quickly and perform repairs correctly while performing quality work
• Check and review work orders and complete tasks on a priority basis
• Develop process capability changes to improve quality, reduce scrap and increase productivity
• Perform basic electrical preventative maintenance checks
• Operate forklift, aerial lift, tow motor, tractors, and other facility vehicles safely
• Participate in cross-functional project groups
• Demonstrate high levels of good housekeeping practices
• Participate in the management and maintenance of the parts inventory system, including research to determine parts required
• Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
• Ability to work occasional weekends along with participating in the maintenance on-call program.

Education & Experience:

• Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
• 4-6 years related experience and/or training in manufacturing.
• 3-5 years related experience and/or training in maintenance.
• Fork / Aerial Lift Certified.
