Bison Transport Inc is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join the Maintenance Team in Edmonton. You will perform quick lube services, minor repairs and support daily shop operations.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, a Grade 12 education, a valid G/Class 5 license, and the ability to work independently as part of a team. This position offers a structured apprenticeship path and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Valid G/Class 5 driver''s license.
• Minimum Grade 12 or enrollment in HS Apprenticeship program.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform manual labour.
• Able to work independently and adapt to changing tasks.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking to meet deadlines.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Quick lube program execution.
• Minor repairs.
• Tractor detailing and sanitization.
• decal removal.
• Daily/Weekly/Monthly checklists.
• General shop/yard clean up.
• Customer and internal DPF filter cleaning.
• Assistance in other departments as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
