Job summary

A senior care facility in Calgary is seeking a Maintenance Worker I to ensure the safety and maintenance of the building and grounds. Responsible for repair, maintenance, and emergency response, the ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience, a Grade 12 education, and the ability to work effectively in a demanding environment. Proficiency with computers and painting experience is highly preferred. This full-time role requires flexibility and a Class 5 driver's license.

Qualifications

• 1 year maintenance experience, preferably in a hospital or large facility environment.
• Must demonstrate an acceptable level of reading, writing, and comprehension of English language skills.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain hardware, fixtures, furnishings, carpet and flooring.
• Respond to emergency situations such as fire, power outage, or water damage.
• Submit written reports of action taken when responding to situations.
