Job summary

Hunter Super Techs - TurnPoint is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the safe and reliable operation of building systems, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and related infrastructure. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to service requests, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will oversee contractors, document actions in CMMS, and collaborate with site operations to keep stakeholders updated.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of facility maintenance or trade-related experience.
• Experience with elevators, vertical lifts, overhead doors, and escalators.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Capable of physically demanding tasks and PPE use.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems.
• Oversee onsite contractor activity and ensure safe completion of work.
• Document all actions in CMMS.
• Maintain high uptime, reliability, and efficiency.

The hourly pay range for this position is C$25. per hour - C$32. per hour.Working HoursThe working hours for this Position are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.Key PurposeThe Maintenance Technician supports the safe and reliable operation of all building systems. They provide support for HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems and infrastructure.The role is responsible for delivering corrective maintenance solutions, while also performing preventive maintenance activities and scheduled inspections to ensure all building systems operate safely and within regulatory compliance.This hands-on position responds to service requests and takes immediate action to resolve equipment breakdowns. This role ensures that all managed utilities and building systems meet operational specifications, documenting all actions taken.This position oversees the work of contractors to ensure work is completed safely and sufficiently while keeping the building operator, site operations manager, business stakeholders, and end users updated.
