Job summary

Walmart Canada Corp in Peterborough, ON is seeking a Maintenance Cleaning Associate to participate in a structured cleaning program, supporting a clean and safe shopping and work environment.

You will follow food safety standards, clean all Fresh Departments including coolers and display fixtures, inspect equipment, and help maintain supplies while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willingness to perform cleaning tasks in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

To participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program while controlling expenses to ensure a clean and safe shopping and working environment.

What you’ll do

• 1.Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• 2.Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• 3.Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• 4.Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• 5.Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• 6.When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.05.
