Job summary

Stellantis Canada Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead skilled trades in a fast-paced, unionized manufacturing setting in Windsor, Ontario.

You will drive safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale initiatives while coaching teams on SPW problem solving and corrective actions. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance staff, guiding throughput improvements, and leading kaizen activities to improve OEE and reduce waste through SPW methodologies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum three years of industrial automation experience with project management experience.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
• Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within the Plant.
• Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting problem solving experience.
• Goal oriented self-starter with ability to lead teams.
• Ability to coach/mentor/develop skilled trade employees.
• Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must meet Canadian Immigration requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct skilled trades employees to meet maintenance department objectives in a fast-paced, unionized environment.
• Coordinate safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale initiatives; drive throughput improvements.
• Coach and mentor team members on SPW problem solving and corrective action implementation.
• Supervise the Skilled Trades and drive waste reduction through SPW methods (AM, PM, QM, FI, PD).
• Lead kaizen projects focused on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvements.
