Job summary

Amalgamated Dairies Limited in Summerside, PEI is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team, overseeing preventive and predictive maintenance and coordinating with production and external service providers to improve equipment reliability.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will manage workforce scheduling, safety, and budget considerations while driving uptime and cost‑efficient maintenance operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or food processing.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and process equipment systems.
• Experience with CMMS and preventive maintenance programs.
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies and reliability-centred maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership, direction, and support to the Maintenance team.
• Ensure maintenance work is performed safely and in compliance with policies.
• Lead coaching, development, performance and attendance management.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and develop predictive maintenance plans.
• Coordinate maintenance projects with contractors and outside vendors.
• Monitor work order completion, asset history, and CMMS data.
• Manage budgeting, scheduling, and collaboration with plant leadership.
