Exciting opportunity for an Industrial Engineer or Junior Maintenance Supervisor with a background in mechanical, electrical, robotics, or mechatronics, looking to join a rapidly growing company where you’ll be at the forefront of solving complex technical challenges and driving efficiency—without the responsibility of managing people.

This is the ideal role for someone who enjoys tackling intricate engineering problems hands-on, working independently to improve processes and boost equipment reliability, while gaining access to industry-leading training and strong career development opportunities.

This company is a recognized leader in their field, manufacturing industrial products used across Canada and North America. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to strengthen their technical team with a self-sufficient professional who can bring fresh thinking to problem-solving and process optimization.

In this technically challenging position, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving manufacturing and maintenance systems, implementing lean practices, and developing strategies to minimize downtime. You will collaborate with other departments but retain ownership of your projects, applying your technical expertise to deliver measurable improvements without leading a team.

The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing environment and have experience solving complex mechanical or process-related issues. Proficiency in 3D CAD, lean methodologies, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office is essential.

The Role:

  • Independently analyze and optimize manufacturing and maintenance processes
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies
  • Create and update 3D CAD drawings for process improvement and facility layout
  • Drive energy-saving and inventory efficiency initiatives
  • Utilize ERP systems to monitor and enhance production performance
  • No people management responsibilities — this is a technical, problem-solving role
  • $95,000 - $110,000 + Specialist Training + Career Progression + RRSP Plan + Medical + Dental + Life Insurance + Excellent Benefits

The Person:

  • Industrial Engineer or Junior Maintenance Supervisor with a background in manufacturing
  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, robotics, or mechatronics engineering
