Job description

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Manufacturing facility (Unionized – Brantford, ON location only)

Shift: Continental 12hrs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee maintenance operations to optimize worker, equipment, and material use while ensuring compliance with company and legal standards
  • Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical and production equipment
  • Manage preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate with vendors for repairs
  • Supervise hourly workers and ensure alignment with company goals
  • Monitor production and implement corrective actions
  • Support safety programs, facility maintenance, and equipment installations
  • Handle employee issues and administer Collective Agreements (if applicable).

Experience & Skills Required:

  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing
  • Supervisory experience over skilled trades
  • Experience with automation (preferred)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and change management skills
  • Familiarity with ERP, CMMS, and MRP systems
  • Project management experience is a plus

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Millwright and/or Electrician
  • Degree in Industrial Relations or related field, or equivalent maintenance experience
