Evertz is seeking a Maintenance Senior Supervisor in Burlington, Ontario to lead the day-to-day maintenance team and oversee hands-on repairs. The role ensures buildings, grounds, and equipment are inspected regularly and maintained to safety standards.

Job description

The Maintenance Senior Supervisor leads the day-to-day activities of the maintenance team. The role combines hands-on repair work with oversight, ensuring that buildings, grounds, and equipment are inspected regularly, kept in good working order, and maintained to safety standards. The Senior Supervisor coordinates work assignments, identifies and prioritizes maintenance issues, and develops practical solutions, while ensuring that tools, equipment, and work areas stay safe and organized.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction
• Strong ability to identify maintenance issues, assess priorities, and develop practical solutions
• Working knowledge of building systems and general repairs
• Proficient in safe use of hand and power tools
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license required
• Experience in a supervisory role is an asset
