Job summary

Ingredion in London, ON is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Manager to lead site maintenance and reliability programs, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operation of plant assets. You will drive asset maintenance strategies, oversee budgets and spare parts inventories, plan shutdowns and major projects, and mentor five direct reports toward a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive maintenance, reliability, or engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing maintenance teams.
• Experience leading maintenance planning and scheduling processes and asset management programs.

• Manage maintenance budgets, optimize maintenance costs, and oversee spare parts inventory strategies.
• Plan and manage plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and major maintenance projects.
• Coach, mentor, and develop maintenance leaders and technical personnel while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

This is a key site leadership role responsible for driving maintenance excellence, asset reliability, and operational performance across the facility. The Manager, Maintenance & Reliability will lead safety-focused maintenance operations, reliability improvement strategies, cost optimization initiatives, and team development to maximize equipment availability and business performance.

As a Maintenance & Reliability Manager , you will lead all maintenance and reliability activities for the site, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operation of plant assets. This role is accountable for maintenance execution, asset management, reliability improvement, budget management, and the leadership and development of maintenance personnel.

This role reports to the Plant Manager and oversees a team of 5 direct reports (Leads, Maintenance Scheduler, Administrator, and a Reliability Lead).

What you will do:
