Job summary

Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) is seeking a Maintenance Power Engineer 4th for multi-site facilities across Bamfield, Qualicum Beach, Parksville, Tofino, and Port Alberni. The role involves operating, maintaining and repairing building systems with duties near the journeyman level and may include supervision of staff.

The position requires BC 4th Class Power Engineer certification and two years of related experience, with travel between sites a regular on-going requirement.

• Certificate of competency as a 4th Class Power Engineer recognized by the Province of B.C.
• Two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
