Job summary

PETRONAS Canada is seeking a Maintenance Execution Specialist to enhance maintenance readiness across our Northeast British Columbia operations. You will collaborate with Maintenance Leads, planners, trades and Operations to strengthen job planning, support field execution and ensure accurate documentation in Maximo.

This camp-based role features a 15-day on, 13-day off rotation and requires pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson certification in electrical, instrumentation or mechanical trades.
• 8+ years of hands-on trade experience in upstream oil & gas or gas processing.
• 3+ years of maintenance planning or lead-hand experience.
• Working knowledge of the Maximo work order lifecycle and asset records.
• Strong communication across field and office teams.
• Valid WHMIS, H2S, TDG, Intermediate First Aid & CPR certifications.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.

Responsibilities

• Review maintenance plans against standards and provide clear feedback.
• Validate work scope, labour, materials, tools and safety requirements.
• Assist Planning with complex multi-discipline work packages and execution strategies.
• Identify field risks, constraints, sequencing and coordination needs.
• Review completed work orders for root cause, asset history and follow-up work.
• Analyze recurring issues and improve job plans and maintenance processes.
• Coordinate with field teams, Calgary Planning, Supply Chain and scheduling to improve readiness.
