Job summary

Nestlé Canada in London, Ontario is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our team in London, Ontario. You will help develop, implement and sustain preventive maintenance programs to support asset reliability and performance in our manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive effective maintenance strategies and contribute to a safe, efficient work environment. This role is an established vacancy with opportunities to shape maintenance excellence site-wide.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in manufacturing/industrial or food processing.
  • Technical college diploma required.
  • CMRP designation is an asset.
  • High proficiency in CMMS; SAP experience desirable.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge.
  • TPM experience is an asset.
  • Experience with packaging equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain master data in CMMS and create/modify BOMs.
  • Ensure maintenance routines are compliant and address stoppages.
  • Deliver budget optimization targets and maintain documentation.
  • Participate in TPM and cross-functional work groups.
  • Follow safety, food safety, and environmental guidelines.
  • Support continuous improvement and interdepartmental capital projects.

In this role, you will play a key part in developing, implementing, and sustaining preventive maintenance programs that support the reliability and performance of our manufacturing assets. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you will help drive effective maintenance strategies, optimize asset performance, and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.

A day in the life:
  • Maintain master data in CMMS and create and maintain BOMs
  • Ensure maintenance routines compliance and ensure planned events address unplanned stoppages pareto
  • Deliver Budget optimization targets and champion critical documentation system
  • Participate in Total Performance Management (TPM) and work group activities as required
  • Follow all job-related guidelines and procedures for personal safety, food safety, environment and company security (including but not limited to lockout/tag out, use of P.P.E.’s, Hazard Analysis, chemical and product spills, recycling) as required
  • Support continuous improvement and capital projects and be the maintenance representative for interdepartmental initiatives)
Role Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or food processing environment is preferred.
  • Technical college diploma required.
  • CMRP designation is considered an asset.
  • High proficiency in CMMS is required; experience with SAP is highly desirable..
  • Demonstrated advanced to expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions) and Power BI is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics, including the components involved in these systems such as valves, cylinders, and pumps.
  • Total Performance Management (TPM) experience is considered an asset.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with packaging equipment and/or within a food manufacturing facility.

  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
