Job summary

Tolko Industries in High Prairie, AB is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to coordinate priorities, optimize resources, and keep critical work on track for a 24/7 mill operation.

You will build routine and extended outage maintenance plans, ensure staffing and materials, and collaborate across departments to deliver excellent service. The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, CMMS proficiency, and BOM management within a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education with relevant technical training.
• Experience building comprehensive job plans and work packages.
• Coordination experience for maintenance outages (minor and major).
• Experience building work schedules to optimize maintenance in a 24/7 operation.
• MMP Certification or Maintenance Planning Certificate considered an asset.
• Understanding stores/spare parts management processes and resource planning.
• Strong knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance practices and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Build routine and extended outage maintenance plans to keep the mill running reliably.
• Efficiently manage both major and minor maintenance outages.
• Ensure staffing, tools, equipment and materials are in place to support trades personnel.
• Partner with departments across the mill to deliver excellent customer service.

• In-depth understanding ofpreventative and predictivemaintenancepractices, along with advanced skills inComputerized Maintenance Management Systems(CMMS).
• Experiencecreating, revising, and maintaining Bills of Material.
• Ability towork with a team of planners and effectively collaborate across functional teams.
