About the Role:

The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance PM activities to ensure timely completion. They will support the Reliability Engineer with data collection, data entry, and organization of plant drawings and documentation related to maintenance processes. Additionally, the Maintenance Planner will work with the Stores Manager to maintain accurate inventory records of equipment and components compared to SAP data.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with production planning to create maintenance schedules, including weekly and future forecasts.
  • Schedule and monitor Preventive & Predictive maintenance plans, ensuring they are completed on time.
  • Work with supervisors and technicians to prioritize maintenance activities for optimal equipment performance.
  • Plan and schedule jobs during plant shutdowns.
  • Prepare spare parts in advance of planned activities.
  • Support RDMs in organizing, scheduling, and completing external PM activities.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary support.
  • Gather machine information and update equipment profiles in SAP.
  • Maintain and update machine criticality analysis sheets for all plant equipment.
  • Organize and consolidate all plant drawings on the internal network.
  • Ensure maintenance manuals and operation manuals, along with recommended spare parts, are up-to-date and accessible to the maintenance team.
  • Help develop and maintain a database for predictive maintenance activities.
  • Create or update maintenance procedures as needed.
  • Maintain preventative and predictive maintenance plans within SAP or other databases.
  • Assist with adding and accurately entering spare parts BOM in SAP for critical equipment.
  • Support the reliability engineer in breakdown analysis and criticality assessments.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the maintenance budget.
  • Support team projects as required.
Who We Are Looking For:
  • Educational background in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
  • Experience or exposure to a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proactive approach to seeking information, asking questions, and collaborating.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with SAP is required.
