Sultran Ltd in Port Moody, British Columbia, is seeking up to two Mechanical Maintenance/Operations Foremen. The successful candidates will have a lead mechanical maintenance background and the ability to motivate and direct crews. They will be required to demonstrate mechanical aptitude, multi-tasking abilities, and operational experience in an industrial setting.
Candidates will also need excellent communication skills and be proficient with safe work practices. A B.C. Trades Qualification Certificate or equivalent is required. A company-sponsored medical examination is part of the employment conditions.
The successful candidate(s) will possess a Lead Mechanical maintenance background with solid academic credentials, such as B.C. Trades Qualification Certificate (B.C.T.Q.) or other recognized equivalent provincial Trades or Technical Certification.
They demonstrate superior mechanical aptitude and multi‑tasking abilities, have experience with preventative maintenance principles and systems, and understanding of materials handling equipment in an automated and computerized environment. This includes the ability to read, understand, and interpret mechanical and hydraulic drawings and familiarity with PM software applications.
The position will also involve exposure to and work in operations, and the candidate(s) will possess operational experience in an industrial setting.
Finally, the candidate(s) must be capable of demonstrating supervisory skills and have the ability to motivate and direct crews under their immediate supervision in a safe and efficient manner.
The candidate(s) will have a strong awareness and demonstrate proficiency with safe work practices, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with other Foremen and management.

The successful candidate will be required, as a condition of employment, to undergo a company‑sponsored medical examination.
