Primo Brands in Hope, BC is seeking a Maintenance Millwright and/or Electrician to support factory equipment and improve process efficiency. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring 24/7 operation in a high-speed packaging environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Red Seal certification with 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, plus familiarity with SAP or CMMS software and strong English communication.

Qualifications

Schedule: Hours and days will fluctuate based on business needs.

Rotating day, evening and overnight shifts.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Millwright and/or Electrician to join our team. This role supports factory needs in regard to all equipment to achieve plan and improve on process efficiency and performance. The Maintenance Millwright and/or Electrician supports and actively manages troubleshooting and the preventative maintenance program to maximize equipment availability, reduce unplanned stoppages, reduce energy and water usage.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance to health, food safety and regulatory requirements of all products manufactured.
• Ensures the working areas and installations in the factory complies, operates and are maintained and working in accordance to the standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Maintain plant assets and equipment to enable 24/7 operation.
• Troubleshoots, diagnose and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production packaging equipment.
• Completion of all scheduled Preventative, Predictive and Planned maintenance activities.
• Analysis of failures to prevent re-occurrence, including creating new PM standards.
• Accurate and timely entry of work order data into SAP work order management program.
• Maintain and improve maintenance shop standards.
• Respond to breakdown calls as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certification.
• Ability to pass a Ramsay aptitude test.
• 3 + years proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1+ years experience preferred, with experience in a high-speed packaging environment an asset.
• Welding and fabricating experience.
• Machining equipment experience; Lathe and milling machine.
• Electrical knowledge required.
• Experience with CMMS & Process Software such as SAP.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to be self-managed and organized.
• Possess analytical skills and capacity to gather & evaluate large quantities of data.
• Strong work ethic, able to maintain high standard over long periods of repetitive work.
• Strong leadership skills, able to work alone or part of a team.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada .
