Job summary

Nestlé London Ice Cream Plant in London, Ontario seeks a certified Industrial Millwright (433A) to maintain and troubleshoot packaging and production equipment. This full‑time role offers an hourly wage of $44.15/hr plus shift premiums and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include following TPM practices, supporting capital projects, and maintaining equipment to meet safety and quality standards in a temperature controlled facility. Prior packaging equipment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certified as an Industrial Millwright with a 433A designation.
• Experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
• Preference for packaging equipment experience in a food manufacturing facility.
• Ability to upgrade and fabricate machinery from layouts, blueprints, and drawings.
• Good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.

• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment related to ice cream production.
• Follow TPM and participate in work group activities.
• Support continuous improvement and capital projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Hourly wage of $44.15/hr + shift premiums (midnight shift $1.20/hour and afternoon shift $0.90/hour) – wage increases January 1st of each year as per the collective agreement

• Overtime paid at time and a half after 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week and double time on Sundays

• Annual tool allowance of $525; the company will top up the tax portion

A day in the life of...

• 8 Hour shifts with paid lunches

• Follow all job‑related guidelines and procedures for personal safety, food safety, environment and company security (including but not limited to lockout/tag out, use of P.P.E.’s, Hazard Analysis, chemical and product spills, recycling) as required

• Maintain and trouble‑shoot all equipment related to the making and packaging of Ice Cream

• Participate in Total Performance Management (TPM) and work group activities as required

• Support continuous improvement and capital projects

What will make you successful

• Certified as an Industrial Millwright with a 433A designation

• Experience in an industrial maintenance environment

• Preference will be given to candidates with packaging equipment experience, and/or experience in a food manufacturing facility

• Upgrading and fabricating machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints and other drawings in industrial establishment

• A good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics, and all the components involved in these processes, such as valves, cylinders, and pumps

• Total Performance Management (TPM) experience an asset
