As a Manufacturing Excellence Specialist, you will act as the factory's catalyst for operational performance. You will turn business priorities and factory data into clear insights, practical improvements, strong standards, capability building, and digital solutions that reduce losses and deliver sustainable results. This is a permanent position and an existing vacancy.

A day in the life:
  • Factory performance and data insights: Review factory performance and provide clear, decision-ready analytics, reporting, and loss insights to Production, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and the factory leadership team.
  • Continuous improvement and loss elimination: Identify improvement opportunities, facilitate structured improvement initiatives, support business cases, and track benefits with Finance through validation and sustainment.
  • Factory standards and information management: Support factory line and labour standards, help translate operational information into material requirements and bills of materials, and maintain an organized, reliable library of information.
  • Digital manufacturing enablement: Implement and sustain practical digital and analytics solutions, including POKA, DMO, TrendMiner, and Power BI, with clear process ownership and user adoption.
  • Planning, budgeting, and capability building: Support scenario planning, budgeting, and prioritization while coaching teams in loss analysis, problem solving, standards, and digital tools.
Role Requirements
  • Background in industrial performance, process engineering, manufacturing, engineering, operations, or continuous improvement.
  • Strong computer and organizational skills, including the ability to review factory operations, manage data, and recommend practical improvements.
  • Experience working across functions and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience turning operational data into useful insights, priorities, and clear reporting for leaders and business partners.
  • Experience using structured problem-solving and loss-elimination methods to support measurable improvements.
  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, Data/Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Comfort working primarily on-site in a factory environment and following all site safety, hygiene, and PPE requirements.
