Job summary

PRICE INDUSTRIES LIMITED in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a Journeyperson Millwright for the day shift to install, rebuild, maintain and repair sheet metal production equipment, including powder paint systems, brake and punch presses, CNC turret presses, CNC laser cutters, and HVAC and facility systems.

The ideal candidate holds a Millwright designation (Red Seal or equivalent) with a strong industrial mechanical background, a willingness to upgrade skills, good problem-solving and basic computer

Qualifications

• Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright designation required.
• Red Seal or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong industrial mechanical background.
• Willingness to upgrade knowledge and skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and be dependable.

Responsibilities

• Installations, rebuilds, maintenance and repair of production equipment.
• Sheet metal production systems including powder paint lines.
• Operate brake and punch presses, CNC turret presses.
• Operate CNC laser cutters and HVAC/facility systems.

Job description

Journeyperson Millwright (Day Shift)

The primary duties of this position include installations, rebuilds, maintenance and repair of various types of production equipment for the manufacturing of sheet metal products, including powder paint systems, brake and punch presses, CNC turret presses, CNC laser cutters, HVAC and facility systems.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• A designation as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright), Red Seal or other.
• A strong industrial mechanical background.
• A desire to continuously upgrade their knowledge and skill in the trade.
• Strong problem-solving skills and basic computer skills.
• The ability to work under minimal supervision and dependable.

Candidates who hold a dual ticket, including a Red Seal Certification as an Electrician in addition to their Millwright qualification, will receive a premium of $2.50 per hour.

Hourly rate of pay range:

• $36.53 to $47.69, based on qualifications and experience. This posting is for the day shift position with work hours from 7:30 am – 4:00 pm.
