Job summary

Kibbi in Winnipeg is seeking an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) for permanent, full-time work in a manufacturing setting. You will install, maintain, repair, overhaul machinery, supervise others, and perform PLC programming as needed.

Work includes at heights, noisy environment, high physical demands, and opportunity to train apprentices. English language required; 40 hours per week; shift work available.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or diploma required.
• 2–3 years of experience in the field.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical equipment and stationary machinery.
• Coach and instruct apprentices.
• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• Repair or replace defective parts and supervise others.
• Program PLCs and assist with setup and commissioning.
