Job summary

Flex--n--gate is seeking a Millwright for the 2nd shift (3:00 pm–11:30 pm) to install, repair, maintain, test, and troubleshoot plant machinery across the facility.

You will work on stamping presses and assembly machines, perform minor electrical work, weld when required, and complete preventative maintenance with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or Red Seal Millwright license with 8 years of related experience.
• Minimum 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read drawings, sketches, and operating manuals.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of working under pressure with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, test, and troubleshoot machinery across the facility.
• Maintain stamping presses and assembly machines.
• Weld as needed and perform mechanical fabrication.

Job description

Scope of the Position

The Millwright is responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting machinery and equipment throughout the facility.

This position is for our 2nd shift. 3:00 pm- 11:30 pm

Job Duties

• Maintain all machines and plant equipment including stamping presses and assembly machines
• Perform minor electrical repairs
• Complete preventative maintenance of systems and machines
• Weld as needed
• Perform general mechanical and fabricating duties as assigned
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Must be a Red Seal Licensed Millwright or have 8 years of practical and general experience
• Min. 1-3 years working experience in Industrial Maintenance
• Working knowledge of progressive and transfer die protection
• Able to understand drawings, working sketches, and operating manuals
• Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a busy environment
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Able to work well under pressure
• Strong attention to detail
