Toro Aluminum in Vaughan, Ontario, is seeking an Industrial / Facilities Maintenance Technician for a full-time day shift. You will be the backbone of uptime, performing preventative and corrective maintenance on CNC equipment and facility systems, with a focus on reliability and safety.

You will log activities in CMMS and support continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a valid 442A or 309A license, at least five years on CNC machinery, and strong skills in diagnosing

We are a growing, fast-paced organization based in the Vaughan area dedicated to operational excellence. We are currently seeking a highly skilled, mechanically and electrically inclined Maintenance Technician to join our core team.

The Role

You will be the backbone of our operational uptime. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing complex machinery and facility infrastructure. You will be expected to work proactively to prevent equipment downtime and respond rapidly to urgent technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative & Corrective Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment and quickly diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Troubleshooting: Use diagnostic tools and schematics to identify root causes of equipment failures.
• Documentation: Accurately log maintenance activities, parts used, and work orders in our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to strict Ontario health and safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• License Requirement: Valid 442A or 309A Ticket
• License Requirement: Minimum 5 years working on CNC equipment. Sound knowledge of troubleshooting servo drives and servo motors
• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on technical maintenance experience, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing or heavy facility environment.
• Technical Aptitude: Proven ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Problem Solving: A sharp, analytical mind with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure and resolve complex technical malfunctions.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks in various conditions.
