Job summary

The Narmco Group in Windsor, ON is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic / Industrial Millwright to perform daily maintenance on production and plant equipment and contribute to building upkeep. The ideal candidate holds a Red Seal in Maintenance or equivalent and can repair, rebuild, and dismantle equipment with minimal supervision.

Experience with stamping presses and CNC machinery is preferred, along with strong troubleshooting and organizational skills and strict adherence to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certification (Maintenance / Mechanic / Millwright) or equivalent.
• Ability to repair, rebuild and dismantle equipment and tools without supervision.
• Experience in stamping press repair, CNC machine repair and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance on production and plant equipment.

Description

An industry leader in the automotive industry for metal stampings and assembly has a career opportunity for a Maintenance Mechanic / Industrial Millwright. We are a full-service tooling provider of both progressive and tandem dies, specializing in deep draw, aluminum, ultra high strength steel (UHSS) and complex stamping dies.

This is for a vacant position.

Wage range $33.00 to $40.00

The maintenance mechanic will be responsible for the day to day maintenance on a variety of production and/or plant equipment as well as building maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Industrial Mechanic Millwright 433A and/or Mechanical Technician and/or equivalent combination of technical courses and/or experience
• Ability to perform and instruct in the operation, repair, rebuild and dismantle of all types of equipment and tools without supervision
• Stamping press repair, CNC machine repair, maintenance of industrial equipment, preventative/predictive maintenance skills required
• Ability to operate any and all equipment required to complete job functions, including tool room equipment
• Must have strong troubleshooting skills
• Must have good organization skills
• Must comply with all safety regulations
