Buchner Manufacturing Inc. in Newmarket, ON is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the afternoon shift to support stamping presses, roll forming equipment and automated assembly lines. You will perform daily preventive maintenance, troubleshoot machines, modify setups and ensure safety guards are in place.

PLC programming and precision machining experience are valued; forklift cert. is an asset. Strong mechanical skills, safety focus, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Major Areas of Responsibilities

Education/Certification/Experience

• Forklift experience and certification (asset)

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this position, the employee will have exposure to a production facility with operating machinery, mechanical parts and moving vehicles. The noise level in this environment is moderate, and can reach very high levels in the production plant when certain machinery is running. Some areas of this environment are exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

Hours of Work

Afternoon Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Monday – Friday

Pay Range: $25-$27/hr plus $1/hr shift premium
