The successful candidate will bring 15+ years in engineering/maintenance leadership, a Mechanical/Industrial Engineering degree or Journeyman certification, and strong project management skills.

Consisting of four locations—the main processing facility located in Brooks, Alberta, where approximately 4,200 head of cattle are harvested and processed daily; the Head Office and a case ready plant, both based in Calgary, Alberta; and JBS Ontario, a case ready plant located in Belleville, Ontario. The Maintenance Manager is accountable for the proper maintenance, operation and upkeep of the service centre - the external building and grounds, HVAC, refrigeration and all equipment. The Maintenance Manager plans, directs, and schedules the daily activities of the maintenance shop and staff while maintaining a cooperative labour relations environment, with support from the Maintenance Supervisor. Optimal equipment performance is key and critical to achieving the facility’s productivity targets - the Maintenance Manager has the lead to ensure equipment performance objectives are met.
NOTE: This position will be located in Belleville, ON
$130,000 - $160,000 annually, commensurate with experience
