Ice River Sustainable Solutions in Feversham, ON is seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to join our maintenance team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this day-shift leadership role is ideal for a licensed trades professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and leads by example.

You will maximize equipment reliability, mentor maintenance staff, and drive continuous improvement across the plant while ensuring safe and efficient production operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Certificate of Qualification as a 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) or 309A/442A Electrician.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting high-speed packaging equipment; bottling experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years leading, mentoring, or coordinating maintenance teams.
• Strong electrical, PLC, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using CMMS / preventative maintenance software.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Committed to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and technical support to the maintenance team.
• Lead by example while promoting a strong safety-first culture.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability.
• Coordinate maintenance priorities to minimize downtime and support production requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades.
• Repair, install, align, dismantle, and relocate production equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS software.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with Health & Safety and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as required.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, this straight day shift leadership role is ideal for a licensed trades professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys leading by example.

Whether supporting our high-speed bottling operation or our plastics manufacturing business, you'll play a key role in maximizing equipment reliability, developing maintenance talent, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

What You'll Do
