Job summary

SaskGaming is seeking a Maintenance Helper to perform daily upkeep and maintenance of the Casino facility, indoors and outdoors. You will report to the Facilities Manager and assist with a wide range of tasks to keep the building safe and operational.

Ideal candidates have at least a grade 10 education and 6 months of maintenance experience. The role requires availability for evenings, nights and weekends and legal entitlement to work in Canada. Indigenous preference may apply.

Qualifications

  • 6 months experience in general maintenance/repair.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Gaming Employee Certificate of Registration.

Job Role

The Maintenance Helper is responsible for performing duties for the daily upkeep and maintenance of the Casino facility through performing a wide variety of duties and responsibilities both indoors and outdoors. The Maintenance Helper reports to the Facilities Manager.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have a grade 10 education. The successful candidate must have six (6) months experience performing general maintenance, repair and preventative maintenance of a facility.

Compensation

$19.26 (Probation) $20.53 (Permanent)

Work Eligibility

All applicants must be at least 19 years of age to apply. You must be able to obtain and maintain a Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority – Gaming Employee Certificate of Registration. You must be willing to work different shifts which include evenings, nights and weekends.Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
