Job summary

Boardwalk in Calgary, AB is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. The role includes on-call maintenance, ensuring health, comfort and safety of resident members, and completing turnover suite inspections with the Customer Care Team.

You will perform preventative maintenance, address requests within 72 hours, assist with snow removal, and maintain common areas, tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance service experience required.
• 3 years renovation experience is an asset.
• Working knowledge of English language both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of Resident Members.
• Address Maintenance Requests within 72 hours.

• Vacant suite maintenance and touch ups per established quality standards.

This position has an alternating on call schedule required.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• 2 years maintenance service experience required
• 3 years renovation experience an asset

Technical Requirements:

• Working knowledge of English language both verbal and written
• Familiarity with technology is an asset

Non-Technical Requirements:

• Ensure to have all tools on the tool list (list provided during interview)
• Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
• Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
• Ability to fix the problem correctly the first time
• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness
