Job summary

Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Worker for the Central Region, based in Grand Falls-Windsor. You will perform manual, semi-skilled tasks related to maintenance and renovation of NL Housing units, both inside and outside, including weather-related duties.

The role requires high school completion, building trades and grounds maintenance experience, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma (equivalencies may be considered).
• Experience in the building trades (semi-skilled level).
• Experience in grounds maintenance (asset).
• Custodial experience (asset).

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and renovation of NL Housing units, indoors and outdoors.
• Loading/unloading trucks and equipment; snow shovelling and salting walkways.
• Custodial duties at multiple buildings and grounds upkeep.
