Job Description

In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health), patient and staff safety is a priority and a shared responsibility. The position involves operating, maintaining, and repairing building systems and equipment, performing trade duties at a journeyman level, and working on building demolition, renovation, and construction tasks. Administrative duties and supervision of staff may also be required.

Qualifications

Education, Training, and Experience: Graduation from a recognized power engineering program, three (3) years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination. Certificate of competency as 4th Class Power Engineer.
