Primary Responsibilities

• Manage wastewater capital maintenance projects from concept to completion, including managing consultants and contractors.
• Prepare procurement documentation for consultants, contractors, and maintenance service providers.
• Provide plant maintenance engineering and asset management support for wastewater treatment plant operations.
• Research and implement asset management and maintenance management concepts.

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering.
• At least 4 years of relevant professional engineering experience after obtaining your P. Eng. designation, with current licensure as a Professional Engineer with APEGA, including practicing status or equivalent.
• A valid Class 5 Driver's License (or provincial equivalent) with no more than 6 demerits and no suspensions or charges pending, or a valid GDL with no more than 4 demerits.
• Access to a personal vehicle for work purposes.
• Knowledge of asset lifecycle management and predictive maintenance is an asset.
• Project management and design experience are assets.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team.
• Strong analytical skills and an interest in industrial trends and technology.
