Position Summary:

The Penske Maintenance Coordinator position focuses on managing inventory and administrative processes for the branch(es) to support maintenance operational efficiency, effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Major Responsibilities:

Inventory Productivity:

• Oversee inventory productivity at the branch(es) to ensure timely service support while minimizing inventory loss.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels by ordering parts according to sourcing procedures, ensuring suppliers deliver defect-free purchases on time by partnering with Centralized Parts Ordering daily.
• Receive and store parts in an organized, accessible manner. Update PartsNet promptly, conduct regular inventory cycle counts, and ensure parts availability.
• Manage new and used battery inventories and ensure tires are stocked in correct quantities and specifications.
• Ensure warranty items are shipped and received on time, follow up on returns and warranty claims in partnership with the warranty department.
• Coordinate with the Customer Service Coordinator to schedule repairs as parts become available.
• Support vendor relations, ensure accountability, and verify correct processing of payments.

Process Analytics:

• Conduct process analyses and reviews in areas such as inventory, maintenance profitability, warranty campaigns, cycle counts, and review of repair orders. Investigate issues and recommend solutions to mitigate risks to profitability.
• Utilize systems like ServiceNet or AS400 to analyze operational dynamics for problem-solving and process improvements.

Other Responsibilities:

• Assist the branch financial manager by providing guidance and information to enhance branch performance and profitability.
