POSITION BACKGROUND

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, scheduling, and tracking maintenance activities for Ketek Mining Services' powered equipment and light-duty vehicle fleet supporting all projects. This role serves as the central operational link between Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Superintendents, field and project mechanics, the Maintenance/Warehouse group, and external vendors to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and maintain accurate maintenance and fleet records.

For the purposes of this document, 'Company' refers to Ketek Group Inc. and all its subsidiaries

CORE DUTIES:

Work Planning & Scheduling

• Coordinate maintenance and repairs for equipment supporting Ketek Mining projects.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and Superintendents to identify maintenance priorities, equipment issues, and upcoming repair requirements, and align maintenance work with project schedules
• Plan and schedule the day-to-day activities of Ketek's field and project mechanics based on operational priorities and equipment needs.
• Plan and coordinate light-duty vehicle fleet requirements with Project Managers based on project schedules, crew needs, site-access requirements, and vehicle availability.
• Coordinate with the Ketek Maintenance/Warehouse group on equipment returns, maintenance requests, parts availability, and repair status.
• Coordinate third-party repair services, dealerships, specialty vendors, and technical support when complex or specialized repairs are required.

Execution & Maintenance Tracking

• Coordinate and track breakdown repairs and planned preventative maintenance throughcompletion, including assigning mechanics, arranging parts, and communicating repair status to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Track preventative maintenance requirements, outstanding deficiencies, repair history, and upcoming maintenance needs across the Mining Services fleet.
• Forecast & obtain Project Manager approvals for scheduling equipment outages.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the CMMS or maintenance tracking system, includingwork orders, equipment history, deficiencies, warranty information, and completed repairs to support audits and reporting.
• Coordinate seasonal and cold-weather readiness, including block heaters, winter-grade fluids,batteries, and other measures required to reduce weather-related downtime.
• Coordinate vehicle passes and the issuing, transfer, and return of light-duty vehicles and mobileequipment for project and site use.
• Coordinate and track the Mining Services light-duty vehicle fleet and rental contracts, includingrental lifecycle dates, extensions, returns, and timely notification to Project Managers.

Parts, Inventory & Cost Management

• Identify required parts and materials, obtain vendor quotes, submit purchase or order requests, and follow up on deliveries to minimize equipment downtime and project delays.
• Maintain and track on-site inventory at laydown areas across project sites, ensuring equipment, tooling, parts, components, and materials are accurately accounted for and available when required.
• Monitor and pursue eligible warranty claims and coverage on equipment and vehicles to recover repair costs where possible.
• Track maintenance spending against approved budgets or forecasts and flag significant costvariances to the appropriate manager.

Compliance, Continuous Improvement & Reliability.

• Ensure vehicle and equipment maintenance schedules align with Alberta Commercial VehicleInspection Program (CVIP), National Safety Code (NSC), and other applicable regulatory and Company requirements.
• Support equipment-related hazard assessments, and track assigned corrective actions through completion.
• Track mechanic certifications, license renewals, and training requirements in cooperation with the Training department to support workforce compliance.
• Analyze breakdown trends, repair history, equipment age, and costs to recommendimprovements to maintenance planning, preventative maintenance programs, scheduling, and asset reliability.
• Contribute to repair-versus-replace and asset lifecycle decisions using equipment condition,repair history, downtime, and total cost of ownership.

Other Duties

• May be required to complete work tasks outside the typical scope of the position.
• Perform routine housekeeping duties.
• Observe all safety procedures and use required Personal Protective Equipment.
• Ensure all Company work procedures, policies, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations are followed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Required

• 2-5 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, dispatching, or coordination, ideally within heavy equipment, fleet, industrial, or Mining environments.
• Working knowledge of preventative maintenance programs, heavy equipment and vehicle repairprocesses, and parts and inventory management
• Experience coordinating mechanics, vendors, dealerships, and specialty service providers toschedule and complete repairs.
• Proficiency with maintenance management or CMMS software, inventory management systems,and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines and respond effectively in a high-pressure field environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with site leadership, mechanics,project teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and acceptable driver's abstract.

Preferred

• Direct experience working within the Mining sector, environments and safety standards.
• Post-secondary education or a trade or technical certification related to maintenance, fleet, orindustrial operations.
• Familiarity with CVIP and National Safety Code requirements for on-road fleet vehicles.
• Ability to analyze repair history and costs to support repair-versus-replace and asset lifecycle decisions.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

• Equipment availability and reduction in unplanned downtime.
• Preventative maintenance compliance, including PM work completed on schedule.
• Timely completion of breakdown repairs and outstanding deficiencies.
• Inventory accuracy at laydown areas and parts availability when required.
• Maintenance costs tracked against budget or forecast, including recovery of eligible warranty cost.
• Accuracy and completeness of CMMS, fleet, rental, and maintenance records

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to sit or stand and use hands for computer and phone operations.
• Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
• Occasional walking, bending, climbing, and movement through shop, yard, laydown, and activeindustrial site areas.

Work Environment

• Approximately 80% office, 10% shop or yard, and 10% field.
• May be required to work weekends, outside regular office hours, or on call to support breakdown response and operational needs.
• May be required to work outdoors and in industrial site conditions, including extreme cold and heat

Travel to various project sites, laydown yards, and shop locations may be required.

VEHICLE AND DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:

• A Company vehicle, when required, will be available at the shop or site for business use
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and acceptable driver's abstract required.
• Company driver training required.
