Job summary

CARTE International Inc. in Winnipeg seeks a detailed Maintenance CMMS Specialist to support the maintenance team. The role focuses on maintaining the CMMS (MaintainX), managing MCRs and TPM, and driving asset performance across facilities.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure data integrity, optimize preventive maintenance and support continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a related technical post-secondary diploma, however work experience may be considered in the absence of a technical diploma.
• Five years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong Maintenance and Reliability knowledge.
• Solid understanding of MCR and TPM applied to Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Great analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills to coordinate with multidiscipline teams.
• Self-motivated with strong time management and prioritization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills, able to handle shifting priorities and multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Administer CMMS program (MaintainX) and related databases.
• Monitor on-time completion of work orders and MTTR.
• Analyze cost and labour trends.
• Track KPIs and metrics; optimize parts management.
• Track accountability and labour utilization.
• Engage in root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Promote and adhere to HSE management systems.
• Update/create maintenance work orders, task lists and procedures.
• Engage sub-contractors for repair and maintenance.

Carte is currently seeking a detailed and organized Maintenance CMMS Specialist to join and support our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), which includes Maintenance Change Requests (MCR) and Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM). This person will work as part of an integrated team within the Maintenance Department to develop, manage, maintain and execute specific tasks to sustain and improve the performance of the facilities’ assets.

What You’ll be Doing:

Maintenance and Reliability Objectives

• Provide support for execution of MCR’s.
• Support maintaining of master data for inventory levels.
• Ensure CMMS asset master data remains up to date.
• PM optimization to increase productivity and achieve optimal use of personnel.

Measurable End Results and Outcomes

• Ensure CMMS master data is accurate and up to date.
• Manage MCR backlog.
• Ensure accurate spares in stock for efficient execution of maintenance and operation activities.
• Audit completed MCR work orders and PMs

Primary Responsibilities
